Regulating allergies naturally: How the autologous blood method influences the immune system
More and more animals suffer from allergies, chronic itching, or recurring inflammations. The causes are varied: environmental triggers, food components, or overwhelmed regulatory systems. One particularly gentle yet profound form of therapy is the autologous blood desensitization cure – a method we have successfully used in our practice for many years.
The idea: The body as the key to self-regulation
At the heart of the therapy lies a fascinating concept: the body’s own blood contains all the information the immune system needs – including those that trigger excessive or misguided reactions. This is exactly where the therapy begins: by reintroducing the body’s own information in a highly diluted form, the immune system is gently reminded to distinguish between harmful and harmless stimuli. In a sense, it “relearns” how to respond appropriately.
Two methods – one goal: restoring immune balance
In our practice, we use two types of autologous blood therapy:
1. Native autologous blood method
A small amount of blood is taken from the animal, mixed with a suitable homeopathic remedy (e.g., Histamin-Injeel or Zeel), and then reinjected – in dogs usually under the skin. This method helps resolve stagnation and stimulates regulatory processes. It often shows rapid effects, especially in cases of:
-
acute inflammation
-
pain
-
skin problems
-
energetic blockages
2. Autologous Blood Desensitization Cure
This cure is a more refined, long-term form of autologous blood therapy. From a small amount of blood, a series of dilutions is produced (similar to homeopathic potentization). The solution is not injected but administered drop by drop over the oral mucosa – comfortable and stress-free for the animal. Over several weeks, the immune system is gently but steadily realigned.
This method is especially suitable for:
-
chronic allergies (e.g., grasses, food)
-
neurodermatitis, psoriasis
-
hot spots, atopy, “licky fits”
-
autoimmune diseases
-
asthma, bronchitis
-
and even behavioural issues with a possible immunological component
Why autologous blood?
Because it requires no foreign substances. No artificial allergens, no chemical suppressants. Instead, the therapy uses the intelligence of the body itself – supported by targeted microbiome restoration, light impulses (e.g., with BLightTuning), high-quality supplements and, when needed, a holistic nutritional adjustment.
Because: the immune system begins in the gut – but healing requires information.
How the desensitization cure works
-
Blood collection – ideally during an active reaction phase
-
Preparation by our medical team
-
Creation of a personalized drop series in different dilutions
-
Intake plan over several weeks (usually every 2 days)
-
Regular follow-ups and adjustments if needed
The cure is well tolerated; mild initial reactions such as itching or fatigue may occur. If so, we will guide you individually.
Who is this therapy suitable for?
Autologous blood therapies are particularly suitable for animals for whom other treatments have been exhausted or have not been effective. They are also a gentle yet profound option for animals with multiple sensitivities, a fragile constitution, or those requiring long-term immune modulation.
